The question: “Which JavaScript framework do you use the most in your projects?” might be a little misleading; you might be forced to work in a framework that you don't like. “Which JavaScript framework do you PREFER to use the most?” could have a different result.

I would appreciate, if you could share the average values: I mean the values, which the chart-abors belongs to.
My english is poor - sorry :)

Dear Kyle Hayes,

Would you please publish the values, which the charts are made of?
I have to make a decision about choosing a js-library. Therefor i make a utility analysis. One critirion is resources. I would love to use the values "Quality of documentation" and "Quality of Community Support" in this point.

Best Regards
Clemens

IMO, it depends on what you're looking for. If you need to build dynamic web sites, IMO jQuery is best, not because it is the most popular, but because it allows you to jump like a monkey in the DOM, and do whatever you want to it.

However, if your target are complex web frontends for processing-intensive, data-heavy, server-based applications, jQuery is a bad choice - jqueryui's list of widgets is poor.

For this second case, IMO nothing beats qooxdoo - not because it is nice to use or whatever, but because of three objective reasons: it has the richest collection of widgets of all JS frameworks I know, it has a comprehensive set of development aids (unit testing, core compression, lint-like code checking etc.), and it already provides mechanisms and classes which you would otherwise need to develop yourself (a data tier abstraction is in the works, rpc calls and json serialization/deserialization are part of the framework, it includes a structured event passing and handling mechanism etc.)

@Thomas, yes Sizzle is a very fast selector engine, but Acme (included in Dojo 1.3) has proven itself extremely quick as well. Your links to the benchmarks and other frameworks contain older versions of the toolkits.

Looks as though Sizzle can do a lot to perform selector speed -- see these benchmarks, and compare with other frameworks.

This is a great survey for me to choose a popular AJAX framework. I have worked with Prototype, YUI to jQuery.
each one has its strength and weak. New version of each one may has a huge upgrade(revised).therefore, I think that the survery need to keep working every 6 month or others.
