Coming soon...
I have been doing some reasearch in parallel with a project that I am working on with Mike Kollen. The research is on a method of programming that is new to me, Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP).
The first time I heard about this was from ColdSpring. The research that I have been doing is everything from figuring out what AOP is all about and how it fits into Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). I have also been researching about various parts of the methodology such as aspects, inverson of control, dependency injection, and most importantly in AOP, separation of concerns.
I am posting all of this to say that I plan on publishing a mini-series of blog posts about what I have learned from my research. I plan to use AOP in my upcoming ColdFusion projects both at home and at work. It is a great methodology and I know many ColdFusion OOP developers will benefit from it.
